Facing the Pats in Super Bowl XLVII (offline)

Has anyone else had the opportunity to face the Pats in Super Bowl XLVII? (offline CC)

I worked my *** off to get to the Super Bowl with my created QB and I'm of the belief that the system is stacked to assure a Pats victory. The pregame dialogue begins with Phil Simms basically predicting a Pats victory because they have a 'bad taste in their mouth from last year' (or something to that extent).

During the three games I played (yes I restarted the game 3 times because I couldnt believe my eyes), my QB threw passes he hadn't thrown all season; including multiple ints from passes being under thrown or thrown behind the receiever. My receivers dropped 25% of all passes and my offense averaged 3 fumbles per game. The best part? Tom Brady had a QB rating of 151 with 4 TD passes in each game.

I know i'm a loser for restarting 3 times but something fishy was going on. I finally quit trying to beat them after my 3rd attempt.

Perhaps I'm a statistical anamoly... either way my inner child cried last night.

I've simulated 2 seasons [seperate CCMs] and both were Chargers vs Vikings which made no sense to me.

And one, Panters went 14-2.

I don't think Madden is rigged to give the Pats the SB. I was using the Pats in my offline CCM after a 3-0 start I decided to sim through the season to see what the offseason was like. The Patriots ended the season 9-7 (Miami won the AFC East) and lost in the AFC Divisional Round.

I'm more less saying if they get to the super bowl and you have to face them. 3 games in a row brady had a 151 rating, it was insane.

I ran an offline All-Pro CCM and had a run for my money against NE with Oakland. Although, I did go 13/13 with Palmer up until I threw a ridiculous pick over the middle by Wilfork.

Playing the Saints in the SB was a different story though.. Brees wasn't just totally accurate, his OL allowed close to no sacks the whole game up until the end when I came with a Zone Blitz. I won though, simply because DMC and DHB was too much for them to handle.

It seems that the playoffs get taken to a new level with the AI.. I wouldn't say cheating or cheesing by any means, just more difficult.
