I had Dez Bryant wide open not even covered 3 times in a row and he dropped it 2 times. The 3rd time he didn't even bother to try to catch it it was too easy. I'd show it to you if I could but hopefully EA fixes this? I'm playing on all madden and just turned the sliders to 30 instead of 25 and haven't messed with sliders too much but the game is fun but horky.

I noticed if you try to move the receiver before he fully catches the pass(unless you initially click on and user the play) then it usually results in a dropped pass. I've learned to wait till my guys have full grasp of the ball then user him and break off.

I've noticed the same thing, it takes a lot of fun out getting YAC though.

Also, clicking on to the WR and gently tap/release the Y button (on 360) right before the ball reaches the WR seems to help.

If your mans wide open, just let the CPU catch it. My WR's have not dropped any wide open deep balls but I always let the CPU catch the ball.

This. Well occasionally Torrey Smith will drop one but that is realistic :*(

That takes all the fun out of it. For me and many others user catching is part of what makes the passing game so much fun.
