I would love a game recap where the commentary team tells about the first half, and gives us a true halftime style to the game like we would see in an actual NFL broadcast. 2K was doing this and even took it into APF, I clearly am not trying to put EA down in anyways for this as I know you guys have to take things a step at a time and perfect it, but it would really help the flow of the overall Broadcast for those of us who are into that.

I'm not sure if they are supposed to talk over the highlights, but 4 demo games and nothing yet for me. I would love to see this kind of stuff in the game though. Authentic to me is gameplay and presentation coming together as a complete package to give me that NFL experience I haven't had since the 2K series and in no way were they perfect either so like I said it's not a put down, just an example.

NFL2K5 presentation pre,half,post game style even on "play now" games would be the best thing I could ask for and finally make me put that game on the shelf for good.

I just finished my first game of the demo. I played as the Redskins and defeated the Seahawks 17-7. I played on All-Pro with default settings except for game speed which I dropped down to "slow".

The pre-game open is pretty nice. They show the teams' logos and then focus on some of the key players. I'd rather they do what NBA 2K does in the open when they show on-court highlights of the players before the game, but I still enjoyed the open.

Nantz and Simms are a definite improvement over Johnson and Collinsworth. I spent most of last year with the commentary turned off, I've only played one game so far, but I expect I won't have to do that this year. The only mistake I noticed was when I brought a pick back for a TD and Nantz said "Time for the no-huddle offense". Other than that I enjoyed the commentary.

The gameplay feels improved over M12. I didn't notice any of the unbelievable moments that I dealt with in 12. Last year the CPU would always bomb it on 3rd and long and my DBs would do nothing to stop it. This situation came up once in my playthrough and both the CB I was controlling and the safety went for the ball and broke up the pass.

I've only played one game so it's too early to tell, but overall it feels like the on-field aspect of M13 is an improvement over M12.

I played All-Pro 2k8 for the first time ever earlier today, and I can see what all the "hoopla" is about. It's a genuinely fun game based on gameplay, and the commentary isn't bad either. The graphics are just a tad bit dated. Hopefully for the sake of the betterment of madden they will acquire a joint NFL license really soon.
