It's a licensing thing the rookies don't get inked up in time for their likeness to be created. Rookie usually look terrible even the top ones, ie Reggie bush, AP, Cam etc. I was say why would EA do a Screen shoot of a rookie anyway unless it;s perfect.

I think that the fact fans know this and can pretty much prove it is enough. He's worn the sleeves noticeably through college and is wearing them in practice. Not much to debate about imho.
