Madden NFL 13 Demo NOT Coming Tuesday, Most Likely August 14th

Well considering how long it took them to get to Mars after they started space travel I guess we have a while for Madden to get there if you want to use that as a comparison. So assuming you use that as a comparison quick math would show somewhere around 30 years left for them to get as you call a "dream" madden game. So don't complain anymore and in 30 years come back on here and tell us if madden still isn't "the dream madden"

I can't believe you took so much flak for this comment because it's exactly how I feel to. For all the tech advances in the leisure industry, from smart phones to AI in computers and the level some other sports sims are replicating their sports at, Madden is incredibly disappointing by comparison.

If in 2004, before the new consoles dropped and the exclusive was announced, there had been a thread on OS about "where do you see NFL simulation video games in 2012", I don't think M13 would come close to those expectations.. However, if the same question was asked with regard to boxing, racing, MLB, FIFA, NBA, PGA and NHL, I think there would be a much smaller expectation gap with where those games are today.

Technology may have grown in leaps and bounds but let's not forget the xbox360 is 8 years old. Not exactly state of the art hardware.

I wish there was a "Beating a dead horse" emoticon because it would be so appropriate for most of the Madden threads...

For everyone that says how much they dislike it and how disappointing the game is, you all seem to find your way back here every year and spend hour after hour posting the same thing...
