Has anyone at EA addressed roster minimums in connected careers? Hopefully they get rid of those as I'm tired of having to keep 4 tackles, 4 guards, and 2 centers when in the real NFL, most teams carry 7-8 OL on their 53 man roster. Not a deal breaker by any means, but will be part of my decision to purchase or not.

I've been asking about this too. IMO, this is the only thing that can mitigate the damage of not being able to edit player positions.

In all honestly, this is something that should have been eliminated a long time ago. Now there's more reason than ever.

I doubt they will ever get rid of this. I don't think they will want to do the extra work of coding every CPU coach with his own roster composition ideology. It's one or the other because the CPU still needs to know how many players to keep for each position.

They could have it for the cpu without forcing it on the user.

I agree that if they fix this, the inability to edit players becomes much less of an issue.

still an issue when trying to obtain hybrid players who started the roster in the opposite defensive scheme that you run, but working around absurd roster minimums was the biggest reason for player editing.

They didn't have roster minimums in Head Coach 09 so I don't see why it would be so hard to do.

It was also easier to move guys around when injuries occur. Now I guess our only option will be to sign guys for a game or two then release them?
