But seriously, that was a fun video to watch. Back in the day, I had an Asciipad controller (with turbo and auto button switches) for the SNES. I think it was... Madden 97? where you could create your own player. So I'd use that and create 99 speed, throwing power, etc. Good times. That was the version where you had to actually run a 40, throw the ball, etc to get the ratings for your CAP.

I like hearing Madden in real life but in the game -- ehh, wasn't that good back then.

BUT, I'd love to hear him with today's technology. Also, I'd like him to draw all over my screen as well.

Yeah I heard someone from the CD event say that Nantz and Simms are the best commentary we've had in Madden since Michaels and Madden.

I was a senior in High School when '93 came out and I thought having numbers on the players was the be all, end all to Madden gaming..lol
