This year I could only interact so much.
I was half joking Chase, I know it won't sound patchy after each play I just want to hear things during each play like Rodgers drops back to pass, finds Jennings across the middle, Jennings to the 40, to the 30, the 20, Jennings is going all the way, TD Packers,Greg Jennings, he sure caught the defense napping there huh Phil?....

Whereas last year you heard he steps up in the pocket, he's got it, at the 40, looks like he's gonna score....Touchdown.....

You have a point, I mean every 4 years it would happen but if they have deep storylines and remember season to season, by the time you get to the next game between Cincy and Oakland, they could talk about what Palmer has done for Oakland, what Dalton did in Cincy, etc. So it would have significance to it and make it sound great. I know the Raiders and Bengals play each other this year, but hopefully they have something in place where 4 years later, in say Year 5 they face off again(if Palmer isn't retired in the game) they can talk about the first game between those two, and what they did since, playoff appearances, regular season stats, etc.

We both want the same thing. It's just a matter of getting there.

The Dalton/Palmer thing was more to point out that we do care about various matchups and so forth. It's one thing to do Manning vs. Manning, but the NFL is a league -- it's not just 8 teams.

Ok. I was just saying how it would be significant(the post I quoted said it wouldn't be significant) in Franchise mode over the long haul and how it would matter in Franchise mode.

I just hope you guys worked on making sure other positions get focused, I know it was annoying hearing about the quarterback battle every game. Like if Ray Rice is coming into a game off of 2 back to back 200+ yards rushing, talk how the key to winning the game is stopping the run, if the defense is playing well, talk how the opposing quarterback is going to play against the defense, where he can find holes, etc.

The cadences combined with the fake-snap seem so authentic -- cool!

But Chase -- although I know gameplay isn't your wheelhouse -- please make sure they program the CPU defense to occasionally jump offsides as a result. Otherwise, there's no significance to the cadence. Please and thank you .
