You're misreading what he said. He wasn't referring to the game itself when he said clean house. Thats obvious because the very next question he says:


I think we're in so much better of a place today than we were in the last transition. Mainly because a lot of it is not a re-write, and the pieces that are re-writes, we're building a lot of those foundations now. These technologies that you're seeing are scaleable. Very scaleable.


Edit: On topic, more info can't come soon enough. Wondering what exact changes there are this year. So far so good, looking for a lot more though.

So,it sounds like they are taking this engine into the next gen. Great!!! So, anyone hoping for a fresh start and a new and improved (cough..real physics...cough) engine are going to be disappinted.

Shop may be a little more in the know then some of the other CD members. I guess they will all see next week...
