Importing Rosters from NCAA

I have a quick question about importing rosters from NCAA. I'm about to start a joint NCAA-Madden Dynasty-Franchise where I import rosters from NCAA every year. One question I have is if I want the draft class from 2011 from NCAA to carry into Madden so I can scout them my first season, will I have to complete my first year of NCAA before I begin Madden, and then import them before the first year of Madden? I know I worded it badly but I hope you guys will understand. Thanks.

Yes. You'd have to finish a season in NCAA, save the draft class, and then import it to Madden after the pre-season is over.

I usually sim 5 years worth of NCAA and save each draft class as the year. That way I have all of them ready when I finish each Madden season.
