Trading after the deadline

Given the recent trade in real life, I want to trade Harrison for Ronnie Brown in my Lions franchise too. This is because I like playing with pretty much the real Lions roster (other than the o-line upgrades I made).

I am after the trade deadline in my franchise. So could I still make the trade by going to franchise options, switching Trade Deadline to "Off", making the trade, going back to franchise options, switching Trade Deadline back to "On"?

I would also force the trade by adjusting player ratings up/down temporarily if necessary for the trade to be accepted by the CPU.

Don't have access to my game until the weekend, just wondering if this will work. Thanks.

Sounds like alot of work. But IDK if they fixed the trading block glitch.You go into the trading block after the trade deadline has passed and it allows you to still make a trade with any team.
