UDFA that I kept on my opening day roster:

and this was before i realized that you can see their overall rating in the Player Management screen in the preseason, rather than the ? rating they show in the Cut Players screen


anyways, I had an UDFA RG that i had kept around, and by the last preseason week his RBK and PBK were at 87 and 89.

Great! I thought, a diamond in the rough.

well, advance to regular season and the dude is a 43 OVR with F POT. WTF? I can only guess that his 45 AWR was the reason, cause his other stats seemed pretty average.

anybody else encounter this kind of thing?

Yea, to me that's what's sweet about it, cuz its a gamble and a crap shoot. Just like real life. I just wish they didn't disappear when cut.

But I did get one guy that I kept over a real life player and he had a b potential. So I'll see what I can get out of him.

I havent found any.
Some make my roster but it is only because I cut other players and never got to him.
The best I have seen have like D potential and havent seen anybody good.
