Mr. CPU what are you doing?

Why do we have rosters and updates if the CPU is going to total mess them up in offline franchise?

Examples:
For instance the CPU will cut every MLB except two on every team but your own.
DCR (CB) for the Eagles goes to starting FS.
Every team will have 4 DT's.

I know I can do the cuts manually, but dang I want to play not mess with rosters all day.

Is there a work around or another post on this?

Oh! And I was playing against ravens in preseason and Anquan Boldin was playing........Cornerback in the second half! I am so beyond taking madden seriously at this point. just fix the ncaa draft import and i'll call it a year. just dont understand how these things slip by testing.

Maybe because people play parts of the game other than franchise?

This was mentioned in the OS review. Hopefully a patch will fix this and some of the othe nagging issues. I won't be starting a Franchise until it is.

On those preseason game depth glitches:

On a punt, kickoff, field goal, or PAT, go to "controller select" and change teams. You'll be the wrong team for 1 play, but you can reorder the opposing depth chart. Put the controller back to your team after the changes and after that 1 play you'll be back with your team.
