Route running anticipation
I'll admit that with some of the tweaks like the new tackling system and DPP that I am having a lot of fun with this years Madden. Is it the best ever? Not even close, but right now it's enjoyable. However, I have one issue that seems to arise all the time, and it's the timing of my throws to my receivers.
If you watch any game of football, you see the best quarterbacks throw before a receiver makes their break. However, if you try to do this in Madden, you get punished with your QB and WR executing a streak route, which more often than not results in an interception for me. I want the computer to recognize that I'm throwing this ball before the WR breaks. Take a comeback route for instance. The AI should realize that even though I pressed the button early, I still want to throw to the sideline where only my WR has a chance to make a play on the ball. Madden has always had this issue, but for some reason I feel like this year it is undoubtedly worse.
