Never have seen this in Madden before but in my first game I played last night I blocked a short field goal attempt. Now hopefully the don't overdue it.

I havent blocked a kicked a since like NCCA 08 I hope I can get a couple blocks this year.

I've already played an entire season and I only blocked two kicks...which is pretty awesome.

Played maybe 10 games with various settings and game speeds. Saw a blocked FG on tweaked all madden with very slow and about 30 threshold. I was worried that it would only happen on the faster speeds. It was one of my DBs and he made a nice dive for it. Great to see this. Next will be big DL who get a paw on it. Shaun Rogers was a kick blocking monster. I would love to see Suh or Fairley be able to get a rip and paw at a FG

I blocked one on opening night Jets(me) vs Cowboys. Well actually my cpu teammate blocked it lol.

I've been able to block 1 vs. the CPU, coming off the right edge and diving at the ball.

I did block 1 vs a local human opponent, and we were *extremely* close on many others. Several times we were there WAY early and just accidentally ran past w/o blocking it.

When both players can see the kicking power meter... it's WAY too easy to time the block *perfectly*. We were trying to kick as fast as possible, not letting the meter go more then 1/4 of the way up, various tactics, didn't matter. With only a little practice, local head-to-head games could potentially have LOTS of blocked kicks.
