Re: Madden 12 Quick Clip Ravens@Chargers (Pastapadre)

Ummm wow?? I guess is the best I can sum this up. In all the vids I have seen, the outrageous qb drops are ridiculous, and this is no different.....first drop back 15 yds, second drop back 17-18 yds and long completion.

It's no wonder its hard to gauge any improvements EA has made to line play when you have people playing like this...has nobody ever heard of 3-5-7 dropbacks??

Also,it seems like EA has made yet another bad design in regards to the play call screen.....why have all those nifty closeups,if you can't see them. The playcall screen comes up WAY to quick to enjoy the closeups or as it seems the replays.

I'm still getting this, but some of this stuff really makes me scratch my head.
Based on the way alot of people play this game,EA must be thinking "why waste time on the line play".

It might just be that the users are mashing on X to get to the playcall screen, though. Although I haven't paid attention to that in the other few videos I've seen.

As far as the dropback stuff though, the fact that he completed the pass isn't the problem, he was pretty much set when he threw it, but yeah they definitely need to tweak the speed at which they back up. Shouldn't be able to backpedal at full speed like that.

To the guy complaining about the Ed Reed tackle, the tackler just started his tackle from the right side like .4 seconds before ed reed hit from the left side AND both the first tackler and the ballcarrier are both leaning forward + driving their legs forward. The momentum in this tackle is correct.

When you drop back like 20 yards from the line of scrimmage and throw a bomb your accuracy should be off badly, I don't care how good the QB. You would think this is something they would have taken care of but, I guess they're taking their sweet time getting it out of the game. Let it happen on rookie/pro(I guess) and all-pro/all madden the accuracy should be off greatly.

It's not like he threw it off balance, if he made the same throw from a 7-step drop with good pocket protection should the accuracy be off badly?

IMO, the last play shouldv'e been picked off or batted by the user...ball was in the air long enough to switch and make the user play...prolly playing on Pro, never trust CPU players on pro..esp against other users...matter of fact..never play on pro vs other users lol
