In-Season Progression In A Patch/Tuner?

They managed to put this into NCAA 11 for the next patch/tuner.

I feel like there is no excuse for this to be lacking from Madden's Franchise Mode at this point (as far as a patch/tuner inclusion that is).

wish that were the case man, no tuner packages for madden tho, why????? You got me, its like they are using ncaa for an experiment with all this stuff and are to afraid to do anything themselves.

I don't know that I would go as far as accusing them of anything like that. After seeing Phil get back on the forums and interact with the OS community I can only imagine that he knows where many of us stand on Franchise Mode.

Even if it were in a patch I think most people would be so blown away that it would just have everyone's mouth watering (even more) for Madden 12.

I would imagine they could patch progression, but then everyone would have to restart their franchises, I imagine. It's probably one of those things they would've gotten right at release, if they had struck the balance properly already. It's just math really.

well, heres to hoping, maybe its not out of the realm of possibility, of course getting this kind of a thing right at release wouldnt be as horribly big of a deal if we were allowed to edit players in franchise as well as draft classes, then if we think ithe progression is "broken" we can fix it, (maybe alot of work, but I for one wouldnt mind) sorry, kind of off topic of the forum.

I would love to see in season progression but may be only 2 or 3 times. Once after the preseason (would make it worth playing ).. about the half way point and at the end of the season.

Does anyone actually think ea would do this? They never listen to much regarding franchise mode. We have been calling for in season progression throughout the life of the next gen systems and we still don't have it. I don't think they would suddenly put this in a patch for us
