with the right tweaks and a little more options, i think gameflow could be an excellent part of the future. i enjoy it now, but would love to see some upgrades.

I hope they make the game plan feature deeper.

Gameplan + Gameflow, works really well.
Agree

Agreed. I love it on offense but the defensive side is the weak point. I hate how if you are playing a friend on the same system, if he chooses gameflow, you cant see what offensive package he is sending on the field. I have no idea if he is in a 3 TE set or 4 wide. If I use gameflow myself I have to spend time figuring out what play they called and trying to make adjustments all before my friend quick snaps it.

You must have missed the point. Gameflow/gameplanning is basically the same thing(Not the same thing as ask madden). Once I have set up MY gameplan I can look though a list of the few plays I would call in the situation. Ask madden was just a random set of plays. I want my box of three plays to be something relevent not a draw, playaction, or a run play from a bad formation. Huge difference.

I use Gameflow and generally enjoy it, but I agree that it lacks some specificity. The biggest thing about game-planning in the NFL is that teams design specific game plans for specific opponents.

For example, I know that the Colts are much more likely to shred me with the passing game than the running game, so my Gameflow should be tailored towards adding more defensive backs rather than just matching the number of WRs in the offensive formation.

However, if I'm playing the Dolphins, Gameflow should stop calling weak zone defenses and increase the number of run blitzes.

GameFlow is NOT the turnoff that QB Vision is for one reason and one reason only...

One button bypasses it.

We button through cut scenes all the time. Have been for decades. Now instead of hitting X, they hit square (or the 360 equivalent).

QB Vision on the other hand was a game breaker... In some modes, there was no option to turn it off. Many of us hated it and it became a DEAL BREAKER.

GameFlow isn't a deal breaker because you can hit square. As long as you can get past it with square, it will stay in the game.

Later

or you can just turn it off in options for good.

Why people are almost "offended" that it is in the game as an OPTION is beyond me. oh wait, no it's not... "they wasted time when they could have been coding new ways to sell hot dogs and foam fingers and recruiting imaginary players instead of on this gameflow crap".

I am glad they made the on the field game go faster and more fun with Gameflow. Keep it!

I hope not. I like not having to flip through hundreds of plays.

I just wish the defensive Gameflow were better. My Gameflow calls blitz with 4 wideouts and guys end up wide open all the time.
