It is very frustrating when a tackle is taking place and I want to join in or bring a big hit and my guy just dives past the tackle. Any one know if this has been addressed? I though I heard Ian saying last year that we could join in on tackles??

I don't see it very much, but I think you can add to them by releasing the turbo and just running into the tackle. But if it's in the middle of an animation I don't think it will work.

from the vids ive seen, i dont think you can..at least not actually hit the guy, you still might be able to join in on the scrum, but you dont have much control, if any..

this was one of the things i hoped they would've addressed as well.

Sadly I dont think the engine that EA Sports uses will fufill this particular need. Madden could be one of the greatest football games of all-time if there were double tackling.

The answer is no ):
you cannot add on to a tackle if it is not pro-tak enable and qualified.

I remember this quote also. I believe Ian also said that you hit stick the pile and make an impact on which way the pile fell.

I was hoping this would be addressed too, but it doesn't look like it'll happen until they revamp the engine.

The dev team did state that they working on fixing the issue of carrying a ton of momentum after breaking the tackle which should help with my least favorite animation from last year (i.e. When you wait a couple of yds downfield from the tackle and still get runover after the running back breaks free).

Since were talking about tackling has anyone heard if they corrected the total tackles from getting solo and assist added in together?
