Could QB's Still Run Past The Line Of Scrimmage & Still Throw Without Getting Flagged In Madden 10?

I haven't played M10 since late fall and don't remember ever seeing a penalty of that nature in Madden 08, 09 or even in 10. Has this ever been addressed? I can't test it out cause I sold my copy. If it wasn't fixed in 10 and they forget to fix this in Madden 11 it would totally suck. I don't want to see Vince Young or Michael Vick run for 4-5 yards then throws it to a WR.

I've never seen a QB in madden run 3-4 yards beyond the LOS and throw the ball. But also I don't think that penlty is in madden neither. The only time I saw that penlty was in nfl 2k5. But in madden once a QB passes the LOS he tucks the ball and run.

I've been flagged for throwing beyond the LoS a few times. The QB doesn't tuck the ball until he is about a yard beyond the LoS. So if you go to throw the ball as your moving forward, and the animation carries your QB over the LoS then you will get flagged. However, if you don't start to throw before your QB crosses over then you no longer have the ability to throw. It's all about timing really. I do believe however, that you can still pump fake well beyond the LoS though, but I could be wrong.

They flagged me one time and I didnt know what for.When the ref said why I was pretty impressed that Tiburon got that in.

yeah its in the game but its not fully incorporated right. if you have any part of your body past the LOS the game flags you, though your aloud to be over aslong as you have part of your body behind the los. for example, having one leg behind the los as you throw the ball but i believe the leg PAST the los has to be in the air not on the ground. I'd have to go back adn read the rules on this one but its something like that. I get flagged all the time in M10 because my pinky toe is past the los when im throwing on the run. it sucks =(

Yeah, I was improperly flagged for this in Madden 10. Wife laughed at me as I yelled at the replay.

It's not a penalty unless you are completely past the line of scrimmage. In Madden if your toes are on the line, it's a penalty.
