I guess I was just raised differently then lol. I will get mad if something isn't added and if it is taking a long time for it to be added but when it is finally added, while I may think "it's about time", I'm not going to get mad. I mean really... what's the point? If you are going to act the same way as you did before then they might as well not even put it in the game.

That's all subjective. While M10 does have problems I don't find it to be mediocre. It took a lot of leaps and was the first Madden this gen that I played franchise mode for more than one season.

All those games still have problems... NBA 2k10 definitely (I have that game). I guess what I don't get is how people find issues with Madden 10 but yet at the same time are so hard pressed to find issues with other games or games in the past that are viewed as "some of the greatest sports games of all time".
you're right that those games have their problems but the overall game, the gameplay especially, is good enough to cover up most of those problems so they arent as noticeable or bother people everytime they play the game.

For years people have been telling them about robo QBs, pass blocking, the AI, etc and yet we still continue to see those problems.

Every other sport the games have gotten better on the next gen system (you can find at least 1 game per sport) but for the football games they have been worse and yet EA is the only one making football games (with licenses). I never was a big 2k5 person but after the past 5 years even i find it amazing that 2k5 is the closest representation of football we've had, and that was over 5 years ago.

It feels like EA is the turtle running in the race, only problem is there is no rabbit to catch up to so they can take their sweet *** time slowly adding things and charging people full price for a glorified roster update.

By the time EA gets it right it will be time for the PS4 & Xbox whatever they call it and then EA will take a step back while they use the "getting used to the new systems" excuse.

Hey, don't underestimate the power of intuition, lol. People's doubts have been vindicated for 06, 07, 08. 09, and 10.

Re: Madden NFL 11 Screenshots and First Details (IGN)

You know what, while that second screenshot may scare some of you, the positive side is that something is being done about Madden's catching animations. At least, THIS year we know that attention is being payed to it. They even gave it a name, "Catch Debugging Tool". Of course we've heard that sideline catches would be fixed for years, but I think that this time around their focus is not only that, but to make the catches appear more realistic and fluid with the rest of the game. We can't judge a still shot because they are often deceiving. That situation may look completely different when put in motion, albeit its appearance as a still shot may look awkward in physical terms.

the second pic, is a bogus animation, the dude is shy high hugging the wr and most likely how he got there will be unrealistic

i dont know why they want these animations when they cannot make them look real, i would go for a strip animation when the both land
