I have been told a few times that im glitching when i do this but i think its just because they cant stop it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ8dY628ezM

I don't realy think its a glitch I just named it that for search engine purposes and to get peoples attention.

I think people call it a glitch because they dont know how to counter it....

Re: Glitch? or Stick?

It's the same with any game really. Not being a great gamer myself, when I do go up against some one that's very good, it's easy to get frustrated as you just feel helpless to getting dominated.

Just remember that even though you know how to defend against these things, the other player may not. If you are a tournament player, you most lkely know the ins & outs of the game a lot better than a casual player

Re: Glitch? or Stick?

Not a glitch. I used to be completely against it though, until I ran into zone, zone zone and then you have a 1 on 1 in the zone and you can't catch it unless YOU ACTUALLY catch it. This is the tool they give you. It's not easy to do, but it can be done. I wouldn't base my entire offense off of it either.

Re: Glitch? or Stick?

Just watched the video. I haven't seen that particular animation by Gates though. Nice.

Re: Glitch? or Stick?

I don't think your spin catch with Gates is a glitch. However, the nano blitz link you presented is. You can actually see the computer AI Right Tackle and and RB2 become confused and block nobody. OL/DL interaction along with RB blitz pickup needs a major overhaul in Madden11.

Re: Glitch? or Stick?

I only have a problem when the "way to stop it" is not football related. If the way to stop something is, "just take your DE, put him behind the SS..." If I can do something a real life NFL DB would to stop that catch, no complaints from me.
