Madden 11 needs to bring back Morale!

If I have a 72 overall FS with a potential of D....but in his rookie season he has 76 tackles, 6 sacks and 10 INTs...shouldn't his ratings shoot up in season 2?

No, because his potential is a D.

And if it was hidden - it still would be low, so his growth won't be high.

Not all players become stars. Not all players have the skills/talent/whatever to become stars. And if you can get that kind of production out of him, does it really matter? Whatever you're doing with him is having him enjoying success.

IMO, there needs to be something to keep every corner from turning into Revis, even safety from turning into Lott, every HB from turning into Sanders, etc.

morale was huge. i miss it.
Thought it was cool to have guys with low morale who are seeking a trade. very realistic.

and as for potential, it should stay but should be hidden and it should also fluxate like in HC. Some guys may have high potential that may go unrealized till a few years down the road.(tom brady) Or a player who may be thought to have a high potential as young player but never meets the expectations though the years.(JaMarcus Russel)

Thank you for saying that. i have the same reaction anytime some one bitches about ratings. If the guys produces who cares what his ratings are.

morale from a team aspect would be cool too so if your team is in a losing streak then you'll see more missed blocks or dropped pass poor play in general. it would be cool to have players hold out or request trades again.

I thought the Tony Bruno show was excellent. They need to bring that back or some sort of newspaper ala nba 2k10. I know they already have a weekly wrap up show but I just dont think its very good at all.
