How do i NOT re-sign players

I go through re signings and re sign the players I want, but when I go to sim past this task after I sign the players I want, it resigns everyone.

How do I not resign these players.

I set the Re-sign players to user controlled not CPU.

did you hire a new coach. When you hire a new coach or resign your old coach after his contract exspires it will set all your user controlled options to CPU. Check your franchise options.

You probably have, I know I've had to reset my prefs a few time in my franchise cause it keeps reverting back to CPU handling everything.
