Restart online franchise for Roster update to apply?

Sorry I am kinda new to this...I already started a online franchise..then these new roster updates came out but I don't see them applied to the franchise.

Why is this? Does that mean I have to restart the franchise all over just to get the new roster updates? Im confused.

yes. when their is an update you have to restart your chise to use new rosters. thats why lots of people wait til the first 2 or 3 roster updates to start a chise.

I just restarted a new franchise but the rosters are still the old ones..Is there something I am doing wrong?

No, your not doing anything wrong. The poster who gave you that answer has no idea what they are talking about, the roster update does not apply to the online franchise, I think its a glitch or something, big surprise.
