anyone see any changes to the cpu pre snap? meaning do they spend more time at the line before they snap the ball?

on cpu FG this is a huge problem. i never even have a chance to pick a player on a FG, but i would rather have them take a few more seconds at the line on normal plays

The reason I ask is because supersimming is a way of getting accurate franchise stats until the patch comes out, but unforunately the stats become a little outrageous due to the game being offensive oriented.
I've found that you have to supersim at about 5 or 6 minutes to get the realistic number of plays. One of the problems of supersim is there are no assisted tackles at all, only solo.

Re: Madden NFL 10 Patch #1 Available, Post Impressions Here

After playing 3 more games:

The lack of run plays vs the broncos was just an anomaly, back to normal though still too little in general.

The run blocking for the player controlled team is ridiculous now. What used to be a fight to avg say 5-6 ypc for my buddy (we play co-op in our chise) he is averaging over 14 yards a carry through the 3 games with 9 20+ yard runs. So that will be some more tinkering with the sliders.

Pass rush seems improved though still to many magical cpu throw aways as he is being hit and still too much super CPU ability to pick up a multiple-blitzing play.

kick returning seems to be much pretty easy now though i do like the better blocking. The info says this isn't tied to run blocking btu me thinks it still is.

I thought simulated stats in franchise mode were supposed to be fixed? Granted it is only 3 games but they are more ridiculous now than ever:

-About 11 guys with a 100+ rating
-7, maybe 8 guys who have thrown 4 INTs
-kerry Collins has 9 TDs though the rest aren't too bad so maybe this is just a fluke
-4 or 5 guys right now on pace to break the rushing record
-Still too many guys on pace for 16+ defensive sacks
-5 guys that have a punt return average of 20+
-The raiders have 19 team defensive sacks through the 3 games and a few teams close to them

Hopefully this changes in time but I am guessing it won't.

i'm glad everyone is happy with a new camera angle and old school digs, but is the pass blocking still sh*t? not sure why that wasnt the priority, i bought Madden for "me" to play the game, not to watch cpu v. cpu games.

Re: Madden NFL 10 Patch #1 Available, Post Impressions Here

dont know were to begin not the greatest player in the world but i started a franchise over with my lions first game played the saints had a 98 yard kickoff for a td.... sweet right.

anyways the cpu running game seems to be more dynamic as well as your own running game, there are more lanes plus your back will do more skill moves on his own that creates yards.
throwing both ways is not as easy more incomplete passes as well as fewer laim ducks passes. the def line blocks more passes if you are n the pocket too close. sacks are easyer

like i said i am not the greatest madden player i play all pro level maybe i need to go up not sure, but playing 15 min qtr 25 sec run off
here was the final score of my saints lions game. lions 58 saints 13 one thing i think is fixed is the crazy cpu comebacks late in the game.

things that are bad
on punts i still dont get why the def lineman while engaged with each other 10 yards away from my punt are jumping in the air to block it. looks dumb i understand for fgs but they have absolutly no chance ever of blocking it.

way to many sideline catching animations and replay is still broken.

still cant challenge td plays when there are ref animations if they say it is a td then it is. no disputing what so ever..i find that very ******** and not true to the game.

ints are still to easy here is drew brees stats for my last game
51 attempt 26 completions 413 yards 1td 7 ints he was sacked 4 times and fumbled 2 times.
here are my stats passing with stafford 27 attempts 18 completions 3 tds 1 int

now i understand the saints are pass crazy so i hope that the cpu runs more but when they did they did a good job 13-71
now were i was impressed like i said the running game is a little tweaked with kevin smith 34 carries 239 yards zero tds the persuit angles are better for sure and they will run you down.

fatigue seems to be toned down less substitutions maybe it was just that game so that i will have to do more research.

broadcast camera is useless and upside down and to far away, nobody wants to watch the game with the logo upside down looks very dumb.

my lions helemt is still wrong both the helmet logo and stripe should match meaning both royal blue or the same color as the stripe down the middle.

i didn't notice the clock running on incomplete plays but not sure if that is fixed.

the running animations seem to be smoother
