Fight For the Fumble

Is this thing even possible to win? I have won only once out of maybe 10-12 times. I do not understand how if my players are on top of the ball and there are two from the other team...I press the button combinations like heck! And still constantly lose.

Any tips on how to win the fight for the fumble? It almost seems hopeless.

it depends on who falls on the fumble first...most times you can tell what team has initial control of the ball, from there its up to button mashing.

I've never won it no matter how many blisters my fingers have. So I just turn the feature off.

When I had the feature enabled, I must have won 8 of the 10 button-mashing fights I experienced. It wasn't a problem of winning them, I just didn't want to button mash anymore. Turning it off, I guess now it's random because in a game versus NE, a NE player fell on a fumble but PHI's Kevin Curtis recovered.

try and get as many players around the football as u can before the cutscene starts. if a big o line man falls on the ball more than likely ur lil cb will not get it but if u have numerous peeps around there u have a better shot. Its funny i havent seen fight for the fumble in a few days of playing now. im glad it isnt as intruisve as some thought it would be

My advice:

Turn the feature off and give the ole thumbs a rest.

I have come to the conclusion that pressing the buttons does nothing and it is predetermined who will get the ball. I have never pressed any buttons during this foolish mini game and I have come up with the ball 50% of the time. It's all BS and should be removed from the game.
