Auto-Subs how do they work?

Ok I did a search in the forum and found nothing useful at all. How do the sliders work first of all? Also how do I adjust it so that I can have 2 RB splitting carries 50/50? Or for a 3 way split?

You go into 'Coaching Scheme' and put RB1 and RB2 use at 50-50.


I wanna know how the 3DRB works.

3DRB = 3rd Down Running Back.

Easiest case of seeing this is with the Steelers, as they put Mewelde Moore in on 3rd down. Its a nice way of getting a shiftier back in there on 3rd down by default.

So does anyone know how the auto-subs actually work? I don't want to keep my CBs in the game too long if they are really tired, that is how I give up easy TDs.

The way I understand it, the number for sub-in/sub-out is the fatigue amount at which the starter will leave and return (i.e. out when he gets down to 75, in when he gets back up to 85).

Meaning it is very different from the coaching scheme menu where you use percentages of playing time. So to use it to have a two back set-up you will have to feel out what works.

Ok I seem to understand this better now, so the player will be "subbed out" at lets say 80% fatigue (assuming I set it to that) and "subbed back in" at 90% if set to that. Very different than the sliders, but this brings me back to the question on the RBs, why have a RB slider to share carries with the HBs? How would this two sliders work in conjuction?

I think that the slider for RB1 vs. RB2 only impacts simulated games. If you play the game then I think you need to use auto-subs to accomplish the rotation.
