In general gamespot is conservative with most reviews, but even ncaa got an 8

Wow. Pathetic. Why is this idiot even playing 5 MINUTE quarters? And imagine half backs and tight ends consistently running over corners... shocking. Has he ever seen an NFL game?

Man I knew gamespot was really going downhill ever since Gerstman left and the whole Kane and Lynch debacle (decent game by the way..) I just never realized how much.

Thank god for OS and sites where sports gaming is taken seriously.

That review sounded more like gamepro...

They gave 09 an 8.0

Is Madden 10 really a half point WORSE than 09? Not judging by the people on here its not...

5 minute quarters because that's the default and what most people play on? Personally I play longer but 5 is the default

The review read like he really hated the presentation and cutscenes....thus impacting the review. Additionally he also seemed to not watch an NFL season - "injuries happen way too often"? That is the NFL - plus, isn't there a slider for that anyway? Just seems the score is a bit harsh - even for EA's recent history w/Madden.
