Lockdown Corners

Maybe its just me but has anyone else noticed how much of an impact the elite corners make on madden this year? I'm a raiders fan myself so i've started a franchise with them and out of the 2 games ive played it feels like teams are really scared to throw to Nnamdi's side.

Playing on all-pro first game was against the chargers and i defensively assigned Nnamdi to stick vincent jackson and he only had 1 catch for 5 yards. Second game against the chiefs they picked up P. Burress from FA put Nnamdi on him and he ended the game with 0 catches.

It felt like every game they intentionally tried to pick on Chris Johnson and my slot corners and throw to TE's. Like i said maybe its just me but it feels great having a corner that can shut down one side of the field and have the computer scared to throw his way like Qb's do in real life.

Let me know if anyone else is noticing this too.

Re: Lockdown Corners

Its amazing. I guess im just kinda in awe its the first time in a madden game ive seen the computer deliberately trying to avoid throwing on someone. On the other maddens id use like the Broncos with Champ and they would throw it right at him. Kinda cool to see.

Re: Lockdown Corners

Thats cool, I've never seen that in a Madden before.

This thread makes me miss Asante Samuel. Philadelphia Eagles now have the starting cornerbacks from the Pats in the Super Bowl against the Giants: Samuel and Hobbs. I just thought I'd point that out, because it seems pretty odd.

Good...i think DRC is an 87 in the game and when he progresses into the mid 90s i`ll be awesome.

Hopefully Bryan McFadden stands strong as a CB2

I bet he would be able to lock down Boldin, but not Fitz.
