I just read on Pasta padre that the Madden 10 demo will only be 1 min quarters not 5.

That is not correct. The 5-minute demo between PIT and ARZ will be 5 minutes (Gamestop Pre-order). The 2-minute QTR demo between PHI and DAL is now being reduced to one-minute QTR.v(public Download)

why would they do that? that's going to hurt perceptions of the game, imo. last year's demo made '09 seem even worse than it actually was because you couldn't get into a rhythm. oh well, chalk up another fail for ea.

I would really like to know the names of some of the marketing people over there at EA and send them a few letters. Granted, no one really does anything after getting a letter other than sending a convoluted message of fake concern back to the potential consumer.

I still don't understand why there is no public beta testing for sports games. The only reason I can fathom is that the companies in charge of said games only care about the bottom line of profit margins on the next game.

I doubt any of the EA guys we have been interacting with are to blame for such a silly marketing decision.

5 minute quarters demo is for pre ordering customers at Gamestop stores. Pit vs Ari.

1 minute quarters demo (and it is only 1 minute per quarter) is for everyone with an online connection come July 30th. Teams are Dal and NYG.
