What min Quarters is Ian playing on in the OD

I was wondering off of Ian twit message that he said they play smash mouth football.

I like the way the total offense stats is looking like. There not real crazy to be unrealistic stats. What min quarters are they playing on?

We're playing 6 minutes + accel clock. We actually prefer 7 minutes (that's the default)...so our stats are "slightly" less than what you might expect in typical games, but we wanted our games to be a little bit quicker since people are often squeezing in games in between tasks.

Well, I don't think that's always the case. Sometimes, when you work on a game a lot it's not as fun to play it. Especially if your having trouble getting things just right in the game. I'm not sure though, but I think IAN himself feels burnt out on madden sometimes. Thanks for your hard work Ian, It's good that you guys play the game too, since you can find things you like and things that need improvement.

What is the most realistic min to play in a quarter in order to get real stats? Is the default 7 min with acc clock?

Agreed... I checked earlier and Ian was averaging around 26 points per game.

Part of that is that there is no accelerated clock for 17% of the game, compared to only 7% of a realistic length game (14 minutes, accelerated clock to 15 seconds), so per-minute scoring is going to be higher in his game than in a realistic length game.

But still, adjusting for that, he'd be averaging 60.6 PPG in a full length game.

14 minutes with accelerated clock to 15 seconds or 12 minutes with accelerated clock to 20 seconds yields 120-130 snaps per game.
