Whoever reads this...Once and for all. We need adjustable sock length!!!

I know this has been brought up many times before but I am trying to make one final push to hopefully have it in madden10.

I would say more than 60% of the NFL have their socks lower than what we get with the custom madden ones. And before anyone says it, no you do not get a fine for lowering the colored part of your sock. You get a fine if you do not have the white part of your sock on at all, and every player does have a little white. I have been looking for this in madden since 04 and still nothing.

Now I do love the new accesories we get like hand towels and warmers and colored cleats, but to me this is the biggest one. Seeing Larry Fitzgerald look like this:

I mean, the damn cover boy has longs red socks, with a bit of white, how hard is it to put adjustable sock length in the game? Don't give me its not allowed in the NFL, so madden cant do it, because I really doubt over half the league gets fined every game for their socks, b/c if they were, the wouldn't be doing it.

I love madden, always have, and I will definately buy madden10 as it looks great, but to me they are missing one of the biggest parts presentation/equipment wise with not putting in adjustable sock length. I just hope someone might see this and finally add it in for this years game.

We absolutely do not need adjustable sock lengths. What's next? Being able customize the type of effing jock strap the players wear? The type of deodorant they put on after the game? Hey, you want presentation? How about being able to watch them in the shower after a win?

Hey bro, I see where you're coming from but it won't affect the gameplay. Instead of pushing for something like sock length, why not push for better AI or better catch animations for your cover boy?

Trust me, that would make you a lot more happier than sock length.

I care, i would love to have adjustable sock lengths. A majority of the NFL players do not wear their socks perfectly like on madden, i mean having adjustable sock lengths would make it at least look a lot more realistic and better imo. Definately not a make or break thing to me but it would be nice to have it, prolly wont be in this year tho.

I think there are more pressing needs right now. Namely the Gameplay and the Presentation. Whenever those items are perfected then we can talk about the socks.

It's not going to happen this year because Roger Goodell won't allow it. I would want to see it, but it just won't happen.
