Ian built me up with Madden 09 and let me down.....

I expected Madden to be an amazing game last year based upon some of the ambitious goals Ian set. I was let down when i got the game and saw that it was not the 2k5 killer i expected it to be.

However I was not upset. Not only did i find it to be the only playable current gen madden, i saw the groundwork being laid with that product. Madden 09 made bold strides and even with its very noticable flaws it was easily the closest representation of the NFL by an EA product since Madden 07 of the last gen.

I mention this because i feel those same expectations growing for Madden 10, but in this new era i dont fear them, because i know they aren't out of reach for too long.

Ian never said that Madden 09 was going to be the "2k5 killer". This year however, he is saying that for Madden 10.
