Re: Madden NFL 10 Key Features Listed

"Unprecedented Authenticity – Referees peeling players off a fumble pile, the chain gang rushing in to measure for a key first down, and all-new player equipment ensure that if you see it on Sunday, you’ll see it in Madden NFL 10."

It's comments like these that get certain people mad because once you watch that first preseason game and see colored cleats, different sock styles and a bunch of helmets that players have been wearing for years but aren't in madden people get upset. They say this every year and then leave people dissapointed making numerous "colored cleat" threads. The direction you guys are going in is great so keep up the good work.

Re: Madden NFL 10 Key Features Listed

Yea I agree, just like this:

"The Emotion of the NFL – New TV broadcast-style presentation and cinematic cameras bring the suspense and intensity of the NFL to your living room."

What this really means is different replay cameras showing replays. What this DOESN'T mean? There are no TV broadcast presentation, no highlight shows, no pre/post game shows, no weekly wrap-ups from big games during the week that you didn't play, etc. THATS what it means.

The Emotion of the NFL – New TV broadcast-style presentation and cinematic cameras bring the suspense and intensity of the NFL to your living room.

Wow it's a miracle! A new TV broadcast-style presentation and cinematic cameras. Ummm...does anyone want to go dig up the features list of Madden 09...go ahead...do it please...you'll see the SAME thing written there. This "New TV broadcast-style presentation" pitch is completely misleading, redundant, and overused. There is no highlight show, no pre/post game shows, no halftime show, no weekly wrapup with highlights and narration. EA must have a completely different definition of what PRESENTATION means.

I mean seriously...that is NOT presentation. Pre/Post/Halftime shows with narration and highlights is presentation. Weekly game wrapups with highlights and narration is presentation. Sideline reporters is presentation. GOOD commentary is presentation.

You guys are going to be dissapointed with the presentation, it's not going to be anywhere close to being like 2k5's...sorry to say.

But they continue to put in developer time to improve GANG TACKLES...something we've really needed. Sigh....gimme a break with the gang tackle crap.

I guess you missed this part:

Enjoy all of the action throughout the league via a new, network inspired highlight show.

Nice try dude. I hate self-sure punks like you who act like you know everything. You can't even properly read a list of features, how can you possibly believe that you know what the final game will be like??

Yes I saw that, but it's extremely vague. I want Madden 10 to succeed, but we've been down this road before.

I really want to eat my words 4 months from now. But I don't think I will. We'll see.
