Trailer looked pretty good to me. Still dislike the running and pass animations but everythin else was fantastic.

Question...did anyone see ONE animation they recognized from 09? I think that's what I'm most excited about....I don't see any familiar animations! This is exciting.

I'm telling you I had a negative opinion the first time I saw it but watch it again. It looks great. Not perfect...but if you think it looks like 09 then you're blind. AND ONCE AND FOR ALL the 2k standing running animation is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE compared to this. It's not even a comparison. I think the transitions still need work here but c'mon people don't be silly. 2k football games have the worst stick up the butt running animation.

I can't believe some of you are getting giddy over this video. The field depth has improved, and the Oline and Dline interactions appear to have improved, however, there are a lot more problems with this video than good things.

#26 on the Cards has a total wtf moment after Santonio Holmes ran right by him.

The throwing animations and drop back looks terrible. If any EA reps are reading these posts, check out the dude who posted APF 2k8's QB animations in a video. Proceed to copy the animations the best you can. Lawsuit Shmawsuit.

The receivers and DBs still move like C-3P0 after the receiver gets off the line. No running animations have been altered since 06. Don't try to feed me bull about how it played better, etc, because I'm not eating it.

I am now convinced that the head of animations is in fact a japanese robot.

Think it looks quite good to be honest.

I like most of the new animations.

For me though its all down to gameplay. I mean those kind of trailers can make any game look good. People who are going "OMG definite buy" or this joker who's going "NO SELLLL!!!!" need to fix up a bit and judge the game themselves by actually playing it rather than looking at 1 minute of footage and trying to make a name for themselves on an internet forum.

For now it looks positive though - it makes me really want to play the game for myself... so must be a good thing!

After the press Hood is about 5 yards behind Holmes. Big thing to watch is Holmes has his head back and slows down to try and make the catch. If you look at how he caught the ball if he was at max speed I would be upset. That being said Hood was still to far behind to make a play on the ball so what does he do...He tackles the WR. That is a great improvement over the kind of DB plays we saw last year jumping to the moon to block any pass near a player
