What about a release date for the downloadable content? (more specifically CPU sliders)

I remember Ian mentioning that they had DLC ready for release but were awaiting acceptance from Sony and MS.

Is there any update on this?

Thanks

not yet, but I'm sure Ian will provide an update in regards to the release date for both the patch and the DLC as soon as he has one.

This is what I am waiting for so hopefully we will hear something soon. I am letting my copy of Madden collect dust while I wait for cpu sliders. I am still hopeful that we will get the DLC this month.

See I don't get this...I need to wait for CPU sliders before I ever play Madden again. I play with Heelfans sliders and I get some great games. Some low scoring....some high. Sometimes the CPU QB rips me apart...sometimes they hit only 55% of there passes. Sometimes I can run the ball and sometimes they kick my butt. Just play the game man....it's the most fun I have had with Madden in quite sometime.

I tried to play Madden for the first two weeks but it just isn't playing like a sim for me. I tried the Madden IQ and that is a long way off from realism. So I tried the custom sliders and no matter how much I tried to tweak them the game just isn't playing realistically. I decided I am not going to get frustrated anymore over it, I have put it aside and will wait for the DLC to add the cpu sliders back in.

I honestly tried to make it play like a sim without the cpu sliders but it didn't work out for me. It's not even a big deal for me anymore because I know they will add the sliders back into the game and in the meantime I am playing other games while I wait. I am actually having a blast playing NCAA Football 08 and that will keep me occupied indefinitely since I don't play online.

I've played mostly online and it's as frustrating due to the poor control of the WR. I've been able to tweak the WR catching sliders to yield better control without cheese but neither patch or DLC will help gamers like myself.

We need a way to set human and cpu sliders for online leagues.

Unfortunately I will have to shelve this game permanently till 2010 if DLC doesn't enable sliders for online leagues.
