Madden 09 Breaks Down Favre's Possible Return (1up)

1UP has posted an article called Madden 09 Breaks Down Favre's Possible Return.

Quote:
"EA Sports surprised us in late-April when they named their first-ever retired player -- surefire Hall of Famer and Wisconsin legend Brett Favre -- as the cover athlete for Madden NFL 09. Now, 10 weeks later, Favre's waffling on whether or not to really call it quits."

I agree. After all that he should just stay retired and let Aaron Rodgers step in and do his thing.....You've got nothing else to prove Favre, just let it go.

I too am hoping Brett stays retired.

He was a blast to watch for all these years. But I'd hate to see him come back, and have it end badly for him somehow.

Anyone notice the interaction between #20 and #23 in the video? This really makes me wish they would put in a few animations for tripping over other players or jumping over other players instead of simply getting pushed 2 yards to the right. Sorry, that just looked a lot like Madden 07/08 to me.
