thats what it said?!!!!

Damn, I just got that he was able to run the ball effectively, but not able to bust open a big gain. Also, I noticed it said "limited amount of time with the game"

We are talking about Madden right? Since when have those not been prevalent in Madden?

No but he said he had the sense that long runs would be a problem. The same kind of language was applicable to NCAA 2005. You didnt have to spend much time with that game before you realized that that game was ridiculously tweaked to curb long runs...and the reason they did that was to make stats realistic as a way of hiding problems with gameplay.

so you really didn't get all that from that one statement. Thats good. I thought my reading comprehension skills were getting stale.

Again, not saying Madden doesn't have problems. I just don't turn every statement made by anyone about the game into a "red flag" about the game. I haven't played the game, so I can't know...and neither can you. Anything we say about it would be pure conjecture...despite what we "know" from previous versions. Pasta's impressions were overall quite positive, but I'm sure that's a"red flag" also

Edit: My apologies for the negative tone of the above post. I normally don't let these things effect my responses. If you want to be negative about the game, it's your business. I just don't see the point of not being constructive about it. I, myself, am on the fence, but I do appreciate the obvious efforts made by EA (at least some of the devs) to try to get this game back on track

This remark is beyond dumb. Have I at any point said Ive played the game? This is pointing out the obvious. Does it make you feel better to affirm this by putting it into words...that Ive come to this conclusion based on not having played the game? What your missing is that I may not even want to play the game so what youre really saying is a moot point. When I see warning signs like this, I want to play it less and less. I dont have to play it before forming an opinion. EA isnt entitled to people giving it a chance. They need to step up.

No. Theres no conflict. I was enumerating problems in the past that were tied to the inability to spring long runs.
