I am going to give Charters fatigue and auto subs settings a whirl. I had Mike Wallace disappear in my game tonight with 4 minutes left....he was having a career day....and just disappeared on me.

Annoying.

Going to try fatigue at 57 with his auto sub settings.


That is the only thing left to really nail down to some degree of acceptance.

I tried Normal speed yesterday for a few games and I am liking it better too. It is a little harder to run effectively in a good way because you have less time to pick and choose where you go.

The thing with game speed I'll disagree on is CPU offensive effectiveness. The Broncos had no issues picking my Giants apart in a 34-17 thrashing on Slow speed.

Raising threshold has worked on tightening up the CPU's defense for me.

I have it at 55, and running on the CPU is much harder, and kick & punt returns, you can't just go outside for easy gains anymore.

Still am seeing some big plays, which is what I didn't want killed. But imo, the CPU plays defense much harder!

Armor & Sword, thank you so much in allowing me to use a modified set of yours for coach mode. I'm currently working on adjusting the run game for the human side. I began a game last night with my adjusted settings against the Saints and was winning 24-3 by the end of the first quarter. I shut the game off because I became discouraged...imagine that...winning and I'm discouraged. I will replay the game tonight and see if I have the same results. If so, I may have to adjust the pass defense on the human side. I'll let you know how it goes.

Armor, love your mlb the show sliders so I had to buy madden this year to play these. Played a couple games and it was fun and challenging which is great.

The classic rosters are the icing on the cake.

As soon as I test them....I will report back....but I can tell ya he has not had the success he and I desire.....it's a part of the game that is just for lack of a better term FUBAR.


So I will see what we can do to make fatigue matter tactically speaking for the human player without having the CPU lose players. Also I have lost players (DT, DE) so I really want to first solve that while having fatigue set at least to 55.
