Tomba's Infinity Engine Fix PrePatch Sliders

Tomba's Infinity Engine Fix PrePatch Sliders

After some tinkering within the demo sliders I've come to believe that we can control the Infinity Physic engine. The physics engine is VERY similar to how the collision system worked in Fifa 11. Wonky at first....

Fifa 12 did an awesome job correcting the mistakes that happened in Fifa 11 into Fifa 12 making it look much more realistic and partly the problem with Madden 13's real time physics engine is just that...collision OR the detection of it correctly...

Coming to the conclusion here that madden 14 will be VERY well defined while Madden 13 WILL see errors within the current engine UNLESS a patch is released where they fix the issue(here's hoping). Either way i feel Ive been able to get marginal collision detection errors within a certain set of slider settings. that said here's the set.

Although I urge every one to remind themselves this is to promote better animations as always NOT accurate quarterly stats etc that why with my sliders I usually encourage every one playing a non competition style of play and play for a fun authentic realistic experience through their use...

Re: Tomba's Infinity Engine Fix PrePatch Sliders

Tried these and running felt really good, a little to many broken tackles by frank the tank but it felt like you had control and power of your running back. The problem was in the passing I lit them up with Smith to were in the 4th I had to drop his accuracy to 50 and wr catch to 50. I was throwing deep where ever I wanted. These are the stats.
Had 2 illegal touching penalties, not even sure what those are?

smith 14/21 386 yds 4 tds
manning 18/26 197yds 0 tds
zero ints for both

gore 13/113 2tds 0fum
bradshaw 12/84
Both avg very high but did feel like had control for once on what they did
Barden 7/78yds
crabtree 5/169 2tds
bennett 5/60
davis 4/134 1td
moss 3/55 1td
cruz 2/40
Like I said throwing was way to easy for me, not so much cpu
Blocking a couple pancakes
spillman 6tack
phillips 6tack
A.smith 5 tack
willis 4 tack
rolle 4tack
goldson 4tack
bowman 3tack
Brooks 3tack 2sack
kiwanuka 3tack
webster 3tack
J.smith 2tack
Haralson had 1sack

Kick off had 1 fumble,

Re: Tomba's Infinity Engine Fix PrePatch Sliders

Played another game Hawks"me vs skin
griffen 16/18 278yds 2tds
flynn 17/23 271yds 2tds
way to easy. I put int up to 50 for cpu and not much changed. both were at 100 and 70 for accuracy and catch
Lynch 22/177 3tds
helu 16/85 2tds

you can guess the recievers, garcon had 7 rec 139yds
meriweather 7tack
Rudd had 1 sack

Re: Tomba's Infinity Engine Fix PrePatch Sliders

i thought all pro had to stayed under 150 total points for a given section.

like rookie =226-300
pro=151-225
all pro =76-150
all madden=0-75

but for the passing section ur total is 270...=.rookie.

and rushing is 185.....=pro.

Re: Tomba's Infinity Engine Fix PrePatch Sliders

Thank you for trying these out... But as I said they are not for accurate stats.

These are being tweaked as they are basically preseason" slider efforts or pre patch ones so to speak.

Keep the feedback coming and please try to see how the infinity engine now plays out collision as that is these sliders main purpose.

I think you are right, not sure if he was just going for more of a correct blocking/what players should be doing type slider.

You are correct but I've wondered if you change each section to a different level what that means to the whole... Example being pass = rookie, run= pro, run def= all pro, pass def= all madden.. What would the overall skill level be then?

I think a middle ground so overall All-Pro. Where the passing would be easy the running doable the stopping of the run pretty hard and the stoppage of the pass being VERY hard to control...

basically put your elite qbs would rule you and you top running back would school you and you as the user would have a hard time having any fun
