DB'S Stat Accurate Sliders (Slow game Speed)

Ive played about 5 games with "My Skill" activated and not once has my outside linebackers gotten a sack.

The D Line has gotten many, but never my OLB's in my 3-4 defense.

They certainly didnt seem to change anything!

DB i really need your help. Your sliders are the best and that means something because I have tried everyone's sliders including Playmaker, Bill Harris and many more and I have to say that yours gives the best stats and gameplay. The only problem is that I can't use my favorite team which is the vikings because I seem to score about 31 ponits before halftime and about 50 something points in total. And I don't allow the CPU to score any points at all. It works well with other teams but not the Vikings. And it just doesn't feel right using any other team other than my VIKINGS (11-3).

I can only guess:-

Madden rates AP, and Favre as almost perfect players at their positions. You have an excellent O Line. I suppose it's pretty easy to rack up points.

Your D line is also excellent, as is most of your D overall.

I'm really not sure how to solve your problem. In Madden terms, you have an almost unbeatable team, heck on paper the Vikes IRL should be almost unbeatable.

But RL isn't Madden, and Peterson has been stopped cold in a couple of games this season (13/19 vs Ariz, 12-35 vs Car), and held in check in many. In fact if you look purely at the stats, then Thomas Jones is a better RB than Peterson this year -no I don't actually believe that's true either Yet in Madden, he's still pretty much Robo-Back.

Favre, while being the master that he is, is probably also just a bit too good in Madden.

All I can advise, is maybe making your run game and pass game worse (try small decreases at a time in QB ACC, Run Blk and Brk Tackle), and maybe drop Def Awr, Blk Shed and Tkl for your own Defence.

In Madden terms though, your Vikes team should be a 13-3, 14-2 team at very least...

Thanks for the help DB. You have amazing sliders by the way. You should quit what ever that it is that you do and find a job at ea sports cause they don't know what they are doing with simulation football. But you SIR do.

Got back home yesterday, did a little more testing then and today (played some as Vikes, I see what you mean Favre). My football gland got restimulated yesterday, when everyone lost, and we beat the Colts (and guys, lets not talk about the merits of the Win, it still counts as a W)

I'm going to take 5 off human BRK TKL in the first post, as even with Peterson I was breaking just too many tackles overall. Got to remember though, that Peterson is just about perfect for his position in Madden 2010, and therefore he should be a one man wrecking machine.

I just can't take any more off QB ACC as far as I'm concerned, as even at 23, deep throws are just too wild. Might consider giving the ai a slight bump vs the human passing game in another way.

Ok DB thanks for the instructions...they kinda helped...only problem I am noticing now is that when I press select after making they "custom" nothing happens or pops up as you said. I am able to input the CPU skill sliders but dont know how to input the hum sliders. I know its not under "My Skill" or is it? If it is, this is the set of sliders that only lets you go up to 20 and some of your values are higher than that..as I stated before of course. I have yet to take the Madden IQ test so its still at the base of 500...do I need to take it for these sliders? Thanks and sorry for the bother. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. I play on the PS3

If you control all 32 teams in your franchise and set the coaching scheme adjustments manually for each team, the cpu controlled team will call more realistic plays on both sides of the ball.
