Something just doesn't sound compatible with the 2 versions it seems.

EDIT

Realistically, we really could start a new franchise with the new roster, save it, load it up in the editor, import scheduling/coaching, and then we would be good to go. You don't technically have to have 32 team control and remove all the UDA's if they don't bother you. Do the UDA's do something to mess up the game?
The roster is correct, and yes, you can start a new franchise with the roster I posted. The reason you would want to use 32 team control is to control the transactions initiated during the season and more importantly the pre-season. Here are the steps you need to take to start your franchise with accurate rosters and scheduling

Start new franchise with 32 team control and my roster

Without simming ANY games, save and load the franchise file into the reader.

Select Actions and purge CPU players - This will remove the CPU generated UDAs - 684 to be exact

Save the file and load into the game - without doing anything else, sim every game individually to the regular season

Once in the regular season, Reset all of the depth charts individually through the franchise menu ****Very Important***

Once this is complete load the file again into the reader and import the schedules, coaches, and Draft Class. Save and load into the game - Easy as pie brother

Feel free to hit me up with questions!!! That is why I am here

There is a reset depth chart button, right? Why can't the CPU change the depth charts by itself?

I reset them just to safe. And yes, there is one in the reader but I feel much more comfortable setting and resetting depth charts in game.

So we really don't HAVE to use 32 team control?

If you don't use 32 team control, you can't change the rosters or depth charts for any uncontrolled. Also, the CPU has a tendency to make stupid transactions.

Well, there shouldnt be anything I need to change. I've always been a fan of just being in control of one team and letting everything else go without my control. Then again, some people do like the control but it kills a little immersion for me.

Expect the CPU to cut some of the important rookies in favor of those UDAs in airplane shoulderpads.

I thought I would already be removing the UDAs in the editor?

Unless your talking about the next season, then yeah..that would pose an issue.

I would like to thank you for all the stuff that you've done to put this together, though. Lots of free time used I'm sure. I can't wait to try this new franchise out Friday, with your sliders. Will report back.
