Looks like this guy's probably going to make the roster. He's progressed enough that his hands are too attractive to ignore. He's still go weaknesses, but I wanted to play with him, so I created him based on Scouts Inc. scouting reports and more recent evaluations out of 49ers camp.

Look over his ratings, if they look solid, take the overall for what it is. People should leave out overall so people don't judge their work on that.

I didn't consider overall in deciding his ratings, I considered only how good he was at each individual attribute compared to other NFL receivers and used the existing roster to determine where he should be based on that relative skill. I let the overall fall where it may.

Overall isn't an attribute, it's only standard by which the attributes are judged as a whole. For that matter, it's questionable how useful it is considering it does not adjust based on the system. Overall is, to my mind, useless in Madden, so I do not consider it in any way, shape, or form.

Might have been, but it seems the ratings curve has changed a bit since M10, so I wanted something that was in line with M11 ratings. Plus, based on the training camp reports I've been reading, he's improved since last year.

I know, I wasn't just judging it on the overall. I just wanted to know where he fell along with other players.

Yeah he was in one of the last madden 10 updates, 62 OVR IIRC and I seem to recall him playing for Atlanta for some reason. I am CAPing him for the roster I am doing. Do you mind if I use yours?? If not its ok I can make my own with the data from Madden 10, but I am just asking because you did some good work here.
