Most realistic Madden 22 current gen experience

This may seem extreme but here it goes

All Madden

60 fatigue
60 player threshold

CPU and Human

Pass accuracy- 40
Pass blocking- 1
WR catching- 48
Run blocking- 60
Fumble- 40 (I increase the starting QB carrying by 30 before the game)
Pass reaction time- 1
Int- 45
Pass coverage- 1

FG power 55
Accuracy 50
Punt power 50
Accuracy 45
Kickoff 55

60 offsides
55 fallstart
55 illegal block in back
100 DPI

Everything else 50

Just trust me. It works very well

You do need to get rid of the ball fast but it's realistic. You get about 3-4 seconds left. Also with the catching/int/coverage/Pass reaction all so low, it basically eliminates most unrealistic ball in air moments

Re: Most realistic Madden 22 current gen experience

I haven’t used these, I’m just going off of something I saw the other day and going off of the context of your post.

There has been a frequent misconception that because time to throw is in line with real life time to throw, that the pass rush is “realistic.” The catch is that while the pass rush is accurately reflected, the route running speed is not.

I commented the other day that I clocked a 10 yard dig route by Tyreek Hill at 2.3 seconds. In real life, he can run a 20 yard comeback in 2.6 seconds. So the time to throw should be closer to twice what it is IRL to reflect that decrease in RR speed.

I wish we could change the speed of the routes as they are just way too slow. Tweaking sliders to give me 5 seconds in the pocket just doesn’t feel right at all.

This is similar to what I do, except coverage. Why is your coverage so low when coverage is already broken in the game?

Disagree that pass rush is realistic or even close to it. And 5 seconds in the pocket? The only reason QBs have 2.5-3 seconds to throw is because they MOVE in the pocket. If they just sat there like in the game they usually be sacked, if pass rush was realistic.

He isn't saying the pass rush is realistic. He is saying that tuning sliders to get the pass rush to get to the QB in a realistic time does not work in Madden because routes are run ridiculously slow on the old gen versions of the game.

Essentially the game isn't balanced if you drop pass blocking down to a level that leads to the DL getting to the QB within 2.5 seconds since the routes in the game are taking two times as long to develop compared to real life. While it may not be realistic to have 5 seconds in the pocket, given the slow route running it actually leads to a balance that is more authentic in the end.

This seems to be more of a last gen issue as I believe the current gen route running with next gen stats powering it has led to released and routes being ran much quicker.

As these are sliders I would recommend moving them to the slider subforum. They will get buried fast in the main forum section.

He has them up there too so I’m going to lock this one up.
