Video in the comments says it's easy to trade Your pick 32 for pick 31 without doing anything, and can theoretically just work your way all the way up to pick 1.

I don't know how this gets through to the official launch. Very frustrating.

Not unexpected given the trait. It's not a huge issue, though. If you don't like it, just don't do it. It's as simple as that.

I don't know if I would call this a glitch. Trading in Madden has always needed house rules. I wish they would just add a trade difficulty slider so people that want all of the first round picks can have them and people who want to play sim can do so without extra rules.

Whatever though, I don't tend to trade all that much as it is.

it needs to be tuned/tweaked but isn't as broken as thought from the op. Even in the vid, he moved up one spot and was blocked for 2 spots up. He does have all coaching traits and abilities unlocked as well. With the trade logic update last year I assume this is a new mechanic added in to spice it up but does need work.

I rarely trade in sports games but if I do I only use the shop player/ trade finder/ trading block to do it.

If he really has all the traits unlocked then who cares. In NCAA 14, having all the traits meant you could break the game over your knee and rule the world as Boston College. Honestly, that's a fine, fun design route. If I'm going to spend that amount of time leveling up a coach in a football game, I should be The Best Coach.

If not, well that's weird.

For Cap reasons you could move down a spot especially if you know the guy you want won't be taken by the team you swapped with. It's not a good reason but it could technically be a reason.
