Lost me @ 4 with Ty Detmer.

14 year career, 74.7 career passer rating, 78.2 rating in 2 seasons as a part-time starter, which at that time wasn't abysmal.

It's not Matt's rankings, it's just EA's worst overalls mate.

Seems like a bit of a pointless video when they were all from the same game due to the ratings in that game.


I'd be interested in seeing the worst overall starting QB's in Madden history. Could pull one from each game and compare.

As a Bears fan, I’m surprised we only had two guys on the list. I’m even more surprised it was Walsh and Matthews, I can think of at least ten QBs that have started for the Bears that are worse

Spergon Wynn has to be one of them. He’s the worst qb I’ve ever seen. Played with the Browns and Vikings I believe. Had to start for the Vikings and couldnT do anything with Randy Moss. Not sure how Wynn ever wooed any scouts or coaches. Seems like he had a bad rating on here. An all time low type number. I used to check him, just to see what ea put him at. And from what I remember, EA agreed with me.
