Post Madden Franchise Spreadsheet

I have been working on a spreadsheet to use when running/managing a franchise. If you're like me then you like to add a little something extra to the experience especially since EA refuses to develop in game content and continues to neglect the franchise community.

The spreadsheet is coming along but it is not quite share ready. So, I thought I would come here and see if there were any suggestions for what others may want in a spreadsheet. The idea is to have a place outside of the game where your teams information can be recorded, referenced, calculated, sorted and filtered to better manage your franchise. This would be from the general manager perspective to help with player progression, salary cap decisions, scouting and overall roster management.

So far I have the following sheets embedded.
  • Team Profile - This is a brief team overview (Schedule, Team Stats, Stat Leaders, Division Standings)
  • Roster - The complete team roster with all necessary information to make decisions. It is broken up into Offense, and Defense, Practice Squad.
  • Depth Chart - The complete depth chart styled to a Spread offense and 3-4 defense.
  • Payroll - The complete roster with finances broken down by player, per year, and shows team totals, penalties and dead money.
  • Progression - The complete roster with development traits, XP needed for next upgrade, where they started the year and where they are at now for a completed +/- analysis from year to year.
  • Offensive Statistics - A full sort/filter ledger of players individual stats by season, week, and opponent.
  • Defensive Statistics - A full sort/filter ledger of players individual stats by season, week, and opponent.

Once I get it a little closer to completing it and finalizing Version 1.0. It is my intent to share with the OS community as I have seen others doing in the past. I know there have been people looking for something similar.

I am open to all suggestions and would love to know what other features and information people would like to see in such a comprehensive spreadsheet breakdown.

Thanks, iTzHoLT

Okay, what information specifically. As it stands right now every sheet will be a running compilation from season to season. The statistics tabs will literally be broken down by season, week, and opponent so you could potentially see how well you perform against one particular opponent.

There will also be tabs for historical data for draft results, schedule, and transactions.

Anything I am missing?

Re: Madden Franchise Spreadsheet

In mine I have:
Team captains
Roster moves (including reason for decision)
Team retired or out-of-circulation jersey #s (as reminder; can’t have anyone wearing Sean Taylor 21 or Darrell Green 28, etc.)
Storyline narrative from game to game, including game balls and key plays.
Now I know how to stream on YT, I can play the game straight through and recap later.
Interested to see your layout.
