Face of the Franchise locked on rookie

Can it really be true, that FotF is locked in rookie-difficulty until you reach the NFL? It ruins the whole mode (more than it already is, with the terrible story) winning 70-0 in the playoff semifinal. I really hope, there is an option to change it somewhere, that I just haven't been able to find?

I had the same problem with semifinals agaist U SC. I was at 3rd 17-0 and wanted to get my guy sacked and CPU defence just run around my guy or there own QB dont know even what football is....really fun jei
