Fumbles are out of control

If you are a sim player you already noticed this. I understand devs want to punish h2h players when they scramble with the QB but this is impacting sim players, specially user/cpu

1.- enforcers are key but they are not the only issue here. In this game MLB from panthers is the only enforcer in the game.

2.-yes. We do use L1 but even then players fumble too much. Also cpu does not run with l1 until late in the 4th quarter

3.- if they want to leave the risk reward for h2h why not make the change for sim mode.

4.- this is avg 110 plays combined. Little short from NFL avg and spot on with sim sim engine

5.- fumble slider while improve it does not fix the issue. Also the fumble slider does affect other part of the game.

Re: Fumbles are out of control

I know it's not ALL the X-Factor players fault....but it mostly is. I had a game vs the Falcons and they have an X-Factor safety I kid you not this dude forced a fumble on 4 consecutive drives. Glad you have photo evidence because the EA Justice Coalition would have been in here in 2 seconds saying "Oh cover the ball" or "Oh you're overreacting" Meanwhile you got a thread running right next to this saying how "awesome these abilities are" and again its not just the xfactor players that are just non-stop hit sticking dudes....moral of the story there's no way you DON'T notice this if you play sim...I mean it's crazy.

I agree its like playing on cartoon level. Landon Collins is averaging 5 FF a game .
Hope it can be adjusted cause sliders on fumbles are worthless

In my testing lowering fatigue to 40 and Zero helped vs those enforcers. Of course you lose that realism factor in fatigue/subs, etc.

Raising the fumble slider definitely helps, but the value needs to be pretty high. You do lose a little bit of the CPU running ability because they seem to be afraid to take hits versus go forwards.

Coaching adjustment - set to conservative.

Cover ball before being tackled.

Slide when running as a QB.

Apparently, the majority of fumbles are from QBs.

Not really. I'm seeing a TON of fumbles from RBs and receivers.

The "Cover Ball" command barely helps, if at all. It doesn't seem to take effect immediately when the button is pressed, so even if you prepare for a hit and mash it, it'll often have no effect what-so-ever. This is most easily observed when taking a big hit as a receiver who's just caught the ball.

Getting hit immediately after making a catch has a tendency to cause fumbles.

I rarely fumble so I am not sure how people are playing that causes them to fumble. I play competitive and on All-Pro

Yeah I mostly fumble with the RB and I'm constantly using L1. I have understanding with a qb fumbling when he gets smoked but Melvin Gordon is my RB and he led the league in fumbles last year by twice any computer player and is leading again on my current season.
